I was extremely pleased with the interactive RAF Ground Crew display that was provided for our recent Spitfires, Merlins and Motors event by Black Knight Historical. The guys were busy with visitors throughout the day and really helped to provide context and capture their imaginations. The quality of the equipment and the engagement with visitors was second to none.

Dear Jed,

On behalf of my class I want to say a big thank you for today. The children haven't stopped talking about the trip since getting back and are dying to show the rest of the school the photographs. I honestly believe this is one of the best trips I have done with any class and can't recommend it enough. The activities were well thought out, educational and most importantly, they were great fun!

Hi Jed,
Thanks for coming into our school last week. All of the children and the staff really enjoyed the experience.  You had a fantastic manner with the children and they all added more facts and information to their ever growing knowledge of WWII.

Here are a few quotes from the children that you may want to use:

On Thursday 21st November a man called Jed came to my school.  He was a brilliant historical man.  I recommend Jed to all year 6s because I learnt a lot from him.

It was an excellent experience that I will never forget!  It was quite a fun way of learning. I would recommend it definitely.

I would recommend this to every school in Leicester!

Jed told us some fantastic facts; like did you know that Adolf Hitler had a dog called blondey?

We had so much fun with Jed. I hope this happens again!

We cover WWII every year with the year 6s so another teacher may be in contact with you next September to book you again!  Thanks again!
